Archos Access 57 4G officially announced with Android Go and massive display

Following Samsung's unveiling and release of its first Android Go phone, European smartphone manufacturer Archos has released its own affordable handset, the Access 57 4G which happens to be the first Android Go device to feature a 5.7 inch display with a 18:9 ratio.

Besides the 5.7 inch FWVGA+ (960 x 480 pixel) resolution display, the Archos Access 57 4G features an 8MP rear camera, a 2MP front camera, a 2400mAh battery, 16GB of storage with optional microSD, dual-SIM (2x Nano SIM) support and a 1.4GHz quad-core Spectrum SC9832E processor with 1GB of RAM. The handset is also available in an 8GB storage variant which doesn't feature 4G connectivity.

The Archos Access 57 4G will be available in all around Europe starting October 2018 and will cost €79.99. Google's Android Go platform appears to be a popular choice among manufacturers who are looking to bring more affordable smartphones to the market.
