Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 officially announced

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 is a budget friendly Android tablet which was unveiled today alongside the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro smartphone. Both devices will be available starting today in China, and offer a decent set of specifications adding good value for what they offer.

The Mi Pad 4 features an 8 inch display with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 13MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, a 6000mAh battery and a 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor with 4GB of RAM.

The tablet will be available in both Wi-Fi and LTE variants, with the Wi-Fi model bring priced at 1099 Yuan (around $160) in China. The LTE version will cost around 1099 Yuan (or $220 USD). Generally these prices are increased by 20-30% once they reach the Western markets.
