Samsung Galaxy S4 receives Android 5.0 update in India

Samsung like most manufacturers are busy rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to its top devices. The Galaxy S5 is being updated to Lollipop in various regions, and the Galaxy S4 also recently tasted Lollipop in Russia. Now Galaxy S4 users in India will be happy to know that Lollipop is headed their way.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500) with the Exynos processor is the model currently receiving the Android 5.0 update, which brings some UI tweaks, the new heads-up notifications, a rehash of the multitasking menu, and improvements to performance, security, and battery life.

The update is being pushed out OTA (over-the-air) and you should receive a notification when it is available for your device. Keep in mind that the update is usually rolled out in stages, so it may be awhile before it is available for your Galaxy S4.
