Coolpad Ivvi K1 Mini officially announced as new world's thinnest phone at 4.7mm


The newly announced Coolpad Ivvi K1 Mini has taken the crown as the world's new thinnest smartphone with a 4.7mm thin waistline. The previous title holder was the Vivo X5 Max, which measures just 4.8 mm and took the crown from the Oppo R5 (4.85mm).

The Coolpad Ivvi K1 Mini features a 4.7 inch display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution, 8GB of internal storage, an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, a 1800mAh battery and a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with 1GB of RAM. 4G LTE connectivity is unfortunately not included in the mix.


According to Coolpad, the Ivvi K1 Mini camera will have features like "beauty shots", with algorithms in place to make sure that your pictures come out looking great. The device even comes with a remote control capability that allows you to control home appliances like your washing machine, television and A/C.


The handset is priced at a very reasonable 1299 Yuan (around $200) and will be available various colors.
