Nokia N1 offically launches in China for 1599 Yuan

Nokia N1The , the company's first Android tablet has officially launched in China. The Foxconn-assembled, Nokia-designed tablet costs ¥1599 (around $257).

The Nokia N1 features a 7.9 inch IPS display with a 1536 x 2048 pixel resolution, 32GB of internal storage, an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, a 5300mAh battery and a 2.3GHz 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor with 2GB of RAM. The tablet runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with the Nokia Z Launcher on top, however you get access to the Google Play Store unlike the Nokia X smartphone line.

Keep in mind that this is not the same Nokia that builds Lumia smartphones. That part of the business has now been sold to Microsoft. Nokia continues to keep its brand name alive by licensing it to others. While Nokia is responsible for designing this device, its production, sales and service support will be handled by Foxconn.
