Google for Android updated (4.1) with more control over Google Now cards

Google for AndroidThe Google for Android app has been updated to version 4.1 with a few new features and the usual bug fixes. The update also brings a number of "Now Cards", which allows users to control what appears on Google Now. You can decide which updates are urgent, so you will receive a ring or vibration alert.

You can download the update directly on your device through the Google Play Store or by using the following link:

Another new feature gives you the ability to initiate a voice search by saying "OK, Google," which now works in conjunction with the always on screen. There is also a way to train Google to remember your voice.

The update also adds the ability to show 'personal results', such as calendar events on our lockscreen when you use the "OK Google" command.  Google has also added a manage space option in settings, which allows you to clear app data and get a bit more storage on your phone.
