The HTC RE camera, which was announced in October now allows users to directly stream videos to YouTube. This feature will arrive on your smart accessory in the form of a software update to the RE for Android companion app.
Once you have installed the latest version of the RE Companion app, you will be able to sign into your YouTube account through the RE Companion app. Next, activate your YouTube live streaming feature and you will be ready to stream your HTC RE camera video live on YouTube.
You can choose if your if your live stream will be available to the wide public or a more limited audience. In case your fans miss your live broadcast, they will be watch it at a later time.
The RE for iOS app will also be updated to support this feature in Q1 2015.
