Samsung Galaxy Note Edge now available on US Cellular

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is now available in the U.S. through US Cellular. The phablet with its unique side display, is already available in international unlocked versions and through AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint.

Purchasing the Galaxy Note Edge with a standard two-year contract will still cost you $399 (which is in line with the asking price from other carriers). The price sans contract has been marked at $820, which is a hefty price for any smartphone.

The Galaxy Note Edge is nearly identical to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. It features a 5.6 inch display, up to 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 16MP rear camera with optical image stabilization, a 3.7MP front camera with a wide viewing angle, and a octa-core Exynos processor or a quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor with 3GB of RAM.

Its main distinguishing feature is the curved display on its side which offers added functionality. However the added functionality doesn't quite justify Samsung's pricing for this device. Still, if you must have the absolute newest device in a unique package, and you are a US Cellular customer, you know where you can get your hands on the Galaxy Note Edge.
