Android 5.0.1 demonstrated on LG G2

A new video has surfaced showing the Korean version of the LG G2 running Android 5.0 Lollipop. Besides the new multitasking feature, the Android 5.0.1 build shows how users can quickly jump back into an app with a tap on the screen.

LG has already started rolling out the Lollipop update for their current flagship, the LG G3. Given the video demo of Lollipop on its successor, we reckon it won't be too long before the LG G2 also gets updated to the latest version of Android.

In fact the Android 5.0.1 build actually leaked out for the LG G2 last month, so a lucky few may already be enjoying a new treat on their handsets. The rest of us will have to enjoy the following video and wait for the official Lollipop update to land on the LG G2.

It turns out that the video demo of Lollipop on the LG G2 was filmed using a Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
