Acer Liquid Z410 officially announced with 64-bit processor and LTE connectivity

The Acer Liquid Z410 was officially announced today, as an affordable Android smartphone with a 64-bit processor and 4G LTE connectivity. The announcement comes in line with the CES 2015 conference which will take place in Las Vegas this coming week.

The Acer Liquid Z410 features a 4.5 inch qHD display with a 540 x 960 pixel resoltion, a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, a 2MP front camera with a 80 degree wide lens, and a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6732 processor with an ARM Mali-T760 GPU. The handset also features Category 4 LTE (up to 150 Mbit downloads) and a battery which offers 5.5 hours of talk time or 400 hours of standby time. The smartphone is also outfitted with a front-facing speaker with DTS Studio Sound.

It is not known what version of Android the Acer Liquid Z410 has, but it will have the Acer’s proprietary software running on top of it. It will also feature enhancements such as the AcerRapid key (under the camera; gives you programmable shortcuts to actions) and Acer QuickTouch (gesture shortcuts).

The Acer Liquid Z410 will be sold only in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) starting February and will cost only €129 (around $155) which is pretty decent considering what it offers.
