Android Wear Lollipop OTA updates

Lollipop for Android Wear Google has announced the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Android Wear, and users are likely impatient to have the new version on their Android Wear devices. In case you are not the patient type, you could take a look at our list of OTA zip files, and manually flash the corresponding one one your device.

To flash these, you'll need to have ADB installed and have the Google USB drivers from the Android SDK. You'll reboot your watch into recovery mode, then select "Install Update From ADB." You can then run "adb sideload filename.zip" from a command prompt.

[NOTE] You can only sideload an OTA update manually if you can actually connect your watch to a computer via USB, and even then, you may not be able to. Android Wear's stock recovery has issues working with ADB sideloading. If the ADB method doesn't work, users are advised to wait for the official OTA update to arrive.

Moto 360 will not be able to manually install the OTA update, as there is no direct way of connecting your smartwatch to your computer. While the OTA file is included below, you are not advised to try any manual methods which could risk damaging your device.

[NOTE] The following download links are directly from Google's OTA servers, so you can be sure your files are 100% authentic.

Motorola Moto 360 (metallica)
LG G Watch (platina)
LG G Watch R (lenok)
Samsung Gear Live (sprat)
Sony Smartwatch 3 (tetra)
Asus ZenWatch (anthias)
