Nokia 9 PureView receives first software update in the U.S.


The is currently available for pre-order in the United States and will be available for purchase starting March 11. However, ahead of its availability, HMD has already started pushing out a small, yet important update to the device.


The news of the update has been confirmed by HMD's Chief Product Officer on Twitter. In what appears to be a security update, which contains the March security patch for Android is said to weigh in at about 300MB. The update will also include several stability and performance improvements, along with some camera enhancements.


The highlight of the Nokia 9 PureView is the five cameras set up on the rear for greatly increase photo quality. Other specs include a 5.99-inch P-OLED display, 128GB of internal storage, a 20-megapixel front camera, an in-display fingerprint scanner, a 3320mAh battery and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset with 6GB of RAM

The Nokia 9 PureView is one of the most affordable flagship smartphones available in the U.S. While HMD Global initially announced that the handset would retail for $700, it is currently available for pre-order for as low as $500 through various retailers.
