The Google Contacts for Android app has been updated to version 3.4.6 bringing the account switching feature to it. Google Contacts was previously updated to the company's new Material Theme design language but lacked the account switching feature until now.
After updating to the newest version of Google Contacts, you will see the account switching profile avatar appear on the top right of the app. This avatar replaces a few menu tabs like Select, Select all, and Customize view according to 9to5google.
With this account switcher, Google Contact users can switch to different accounts without having to visit the navigation drawer. It also acts as a shortcut to view contacts from all that user's accounts.
