The Microsoft Surface Go was first unveiled back in July as a competitor to the Apple iPad, however, the only models offered at that time were those with Wi-Fi connectivity. Starting today, Microsoft has started taking pre-orders for the LTE enabled Microsoft Surface Go.

While the Wi-Fi variant costs start at $399, the LTE enabled Surface Go will cost $679 (or 24 monthly payments of $24.99). The base version of the LTE enabled Surface Go features a 10-inch display with an 1800x1200 pixel resolution, an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera 128GB of storage, an Intel Pentium Gold (4415Y) processor, 8GB of RAM and Windows 10 Home pre-installed. Enterprise users can get the same model with Windows 10 Pro installed for $729, or get Windows 10 Pro and a bump to 256GB SSD storage for $829.

The LTE enabled Surface Go also features a nano-SIM tray, GPS and weighs slightly more than the Wi-Fi model. The LTE model is also said to offer 8.5 hours of video playback, which is half an hour lower than the Wi-Fi model.

You can pre-order the Surface Go starting today in U.S. and Canada with shipping set to start on November 20th. Another 21 markets will be able to order the LTE enabled Surface Go starting on November 22nd.
