The LG V40 ThinQ, the company's newest high-end smartphone is now available for purchase in the United States through Best Buy for $749.99. This happens to be $200 off its retail price.
In an era of expensive flagship smartphones, this is a decent asking price for what LG is offering. The V40 ThinQ features a 6.1 inch LCD display, 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a dual (8MP+5MP) front camera setup, fingerprint scanner, 3300mAh battery and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset with 6GB of RAM.
To sweeten the deal, Best Buy is bundling a free 256GB SanDisk microSD card as long as you meet a couple of conditions - You have to buy the V40 ThinQ on or before November 2, and register it on LG's website. By doing so, you will be automatically enrolled into the LG Second Year Promise Program, which gives you one extra year of warranty for free.
The unlocked LG V40 ThinQ will be compatible will all US carriers, including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint. The handset runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and is expected to receive an Android 9 Pie update at some point.
B&H also recently put the LG V40 ThinQ up for pre-order, and they are offering the same $200 discount on its retail price. However, they are only releasing the handset later this week on October 26.
