LG V40 receives software update with camera improvements ahead of release


The LG V40 ThinQ with its three rear cameras is receiving an important update which is expected to further improve the cameras. Its interesting to talk about this phone receiving updates, given that it has still not been released publicly.

The new changes are meant to fine-tune some of the camera functions before the device is ready for public consumption. The update which comes in at around 390MB in size is said to have the following improvements

  • Improvement of Camera HDR performance;
  • Improvement of Sharpness and Color at outdoor condition;
  • Improvement of AF improvement with triple shot;
  • Improvement of Black phenomenon of video recording.
If you are planning to purchase an LG V40 when it arrives before the end of this month, make sure you check for an update before you start using it, so you can get full advantage of that triple camera.

Other specs on the LG V40 include a 6.4 inch display, 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a dual (8MP+5MP) front camera setup, fingerprint scanner, 3300mAh battery and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset with 6GB of RAM.
