Google Translate updated with support for more Camera Translation languages

An updated version of Google Translate has been released for iOS and Android with several new languages supported by Camera Translation. With Camera Translate, users can use the device camera to capture and translate text for them in real time.

The new update bring support for the following 13 new languages:

• Arabic
• Thai
• Vietnamese
• Hindi
• Bengali

• Nepali
• Punjabi
• Tamil
• Telugu

The update also allows users to translate between any two languages from the list above, in addition to the languages already supported by Google Translate. With these additions, Camera Translate now supports a total of 50 languages on Google Translate.

Google is pushing out the update to iOS and Android starting today, so you should see the support appear for your devices in the coming days. Download the latest version of Google Translate directly on your Android device through the Google Play Store or on iOS through the Apple App Store
