Yahoo for Android updated with aggregated news, weather, sports and more

Yahoo for Android has been updated, proving users with an all-in-on app which offers more personalized information including news, weather and sports.

While Yahoo also offers separate apps for Mail, Search, Newsroom, Weather and Finance, users can now have the information that is important to them available directly on their main Yahoo app.

This kind of functionality is already available through Yahoo's competitors like Google and Bing. Fortunately to Yahoo loyalists, they won't have to switch between the specialized Yahoo apps for the information they need.

When you open the app you will see a brief weather summary on the top of your screen, followed by several curated news stories. Next you will have your Yahoo Mail summary, followed by coupons from local stores and restaurants as long as you have location data enabled. 

This will be followed by Yahoo Finance, listing the prices of several indices and shares. Finally, your daily horoscope will wrap up your summary.
