OnePlus 6 receives software update with improved HDR mode, and fix for screen flicker

The OnePlus 6 is now receiving the 5.1.11 software update which promises to fix the issue that made screens flicker in the daylight. The update also brings several other optimizations and improvements to the system and camera.

Besides an improved HDR mode for the camera, the OxygenOS 5.1.11 update has the following new features and improvements:

• Optimized network connection
• Optimized stability for Wi-Fi connection
• Fixed screen flickering issue in daylight
• General bug fixes and improvements
• Confirm pin without tapping ✓(Setting > Security & lock > PIN)

The update is being rolled out to a limited number of customers OTA (over-the-air) today, and will be sent to the rest in the next couple of days. You should see a notification on your OnePlus 6 when the update is available for your device.
