Huawei Mate 20 'series' announcement scheduled for October 16

Huawei has scheduled an event for October 16th in London, where the company is expected to unveil its highly anticipated Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro flagships. These handsets are expected to be powered by Huawei's 7nm based Kirin 980 chipsets.

According to rumors, the handset is expected to have a sleek modern design, triple rear cameras, fast wireless charging, in-display fingerprint recognition, 3D face scanning and amazing battery life. The new handsets will also likely come with Android 9 Pie pre-installed.

While it is not known if these handsets will make their way to the US carriers, we may likely see some availability through retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, and B&H Photo Video.
