Microsoft Launcher for Android (beta) 4.12 brings custom app icon and folder gestures

Microsoft Launcher for Android
Microsoft is working on a new version of Microsoft Launcher for Android which appears to be adding several new features to the custom launcher.

In order to test out some of the new features, which include a custom app icon and folder gestures, you will have to sign up for the beta program. Since this is a pre-release version of the launcher, it is likely that not all of the features will make its way to the final build, but lets take a closer look at some of the features Microsoft is working on for a potential release.

The build which is currently in the beta channel (version 4.12) has the following new features and improvements according to the change-log:
  • Custom app icon and folder gestures
  • Dock widgets replaced with apps, contacts or app widgets
  • Family web filtering through the Family card.
If you want to try out the beta, you will have to sign up for the beta program before you download the app using the following link
