Fortnite for iOS - Now publicly available

Following its recent invite only launch, Fortnite for iOS, which includes the Battle Royale game mode, is now freely available on the iOS platform through the Apple App Store for compatible devices.

The public launch was officially announced by Epic Games on their Twitter account. Keep in mind that you will need an iPhone SE/6S or newer, or an iPad Pro, iPad Air 2 or newer or an iPad mini. You will also need to be running iOS 11 and have 2GB of free space. You will also need a constant internet connection to keep playing. Fortnite for Android is also reportedly in the works.

Until now, Fortnite for iOS was on an invite only. Those on PC and console versions of the game will be able to log into their Epic Games account and share progress across all platforms, including access to any vanity items they may have unlocked. They can even hop into the game on iOS and play with or against friends on other platforms.
