OxygenOS 2.0.2 update released with bug fixes and improvements

Recently, the OnePlus 2 received the OxygenOS 2.0.1 update with a fix for the Stagefright exploit. Now the manufacturer has started rolling out OxygenOS 2.0.2 with even more improvements and bug fixes.

Among the improvements, OnePlus has made the fingerprint recognition on its new flagship more accurate. Another change is a fix for the bug that randomly muted the phone's volume. OnePlus has also improved the stability of the front facing camera while adding an improved interface for the camera preview.

Before installing the OxygenOS 2.0.2 update, make sure that your OnePlus 2 is commented to WiFi and that your battery is appropriately (at least 50%) charged. Because the update is being pushed out in waves, it could take a few days before it hits your phone.

Besides disseminating the OxygenOS 2.0.2 update, OnePlus also announced the upcoming OxygenOS 2.1 update. This major update is expected to arrive in the middle of this month, but there is no word on what to expect from the release. In any case the version jump could signal some new features for OnePlus 2 owners.
