Apple is expected to use a new aircraft grade, Series 7000 aluminum, in an attempt to make the new models more durable. The handsets are also expected to feature Force Touch, like the Apple Watch, which allows the display to differentiate between a regular tap and a harder tap. Other enhancements expected on the new iPhones, include 12MP cameras, larger capacity batteries and double the amount of RAM.

Other rumors include the introduction of "an affordable" plastic iPhone 6c, and the introduction of a 12 inch iPad Pro. While none of these rumors have been confirmed, we will have to wait for the event to conform any of them.

Interestingly, Apple's new event can now also be live streamed on your Windows 10 computer, thanks to the HTTP Live Streaming technology found on Microsoft's new Edge browser. Windows users will no longer have to rely on an Apple device to follow the conference.
