VLC for Android updated (1.3.2)The VLC media player is a cross platform multimedia player with support for several video formats. VLC for Android has been updated to version 1.3.2 which brings multiple visual improvements, as well as some tweaks to the playback engine.

The main addition to the update is the ability to play videos in the background. This is very useful if you want to take care of another task on your device, with the audio running in the background.

Previously, VLC for Android would stop video playback when the user pressed the back or the home button, just like many other video players available for Android. This feature is not turned on by default, and should be enabled by heading over to Settings > Interface > Play videos in background.
