Android 5.1.1 factory images for Nexus devicesGoogle has published the Android 5.1.1 (build number LMY47V) factory images for the Wi-Fi only Google Nexus 7 2012 and Google Nexus 7 2013, along with the Google Nexus 10. The Android 5.1.1 factory image is also available for the Nexus Player.

Factory Images are not generally meant for the public. They should be used as a means to repair your Android device in case its software is corrupt and needs to be restored to its original state. Factory Images can also be used if your Android device is rooted, and you want to return to its stock state in order to install official OTA updates. Any reason you might have for wanting to return to stock Android is a reason to employ the factory image.

Google has reportedly already started rolling out the Android 5.1.1 OTA update for the Nexus 10. So it shouldn't be too long before the same OTA arrives on the other Nexus tablets. Meanwhile you could download the factory images using the following links:
It's very interesting to see that Google is updating the Nexus 10, a tablet launched more than a couple of years ago, to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, while the both the Wi-Fi only and the LTE versions of the Google Nexus 9, the most recent Nexus tablet, is still running Android 5.0 Lollipop.
