Google acquires Timeful, plans to integrate its smart suggestions into Inbox and Calendar

Timeful, a popular time management application for iPhone has now been acquired by Google. The search giant will inturn integrate the application into its own services, including Inbox, Calendar and others, to make it more enjoyable to manage your busy day.

The signature feature of Timeful is that it works around your current schedule and pro-actively suggests you do things. It's not just another calendar app. Instead, upon registration, it asks you what kind of things do you want to do more - from exercise to cooking. Then, it would look for open spots in your current schedule and suggest openings so that you can fit in that gym visit you've been postponing an eternity. Quite neatly, you can select just how aggressive Timeful will be in populating your calendar with ambitious goals.

It's also worth pointing out that Timeful handles personal and work life with equal priority - something that we ourselves often don't do. The app will, for example, remind you to spend the time with your kids helping them with homework rather than just populate your schedule with work stuff.
