Microsoft Health for Windows Phone updated, adds support for UKMicrosoft recently announced that they would be expanding the availability of the Microsoft Band to the UK in April. Now the company has also updated Microsoft Health for Windows Phone, making the app available to consumers in the UK for the first time.

Previously users who purchased a Microsoft Band from the U.S., needed to change their phone's region in order to download the Microsoft Health companion app in the UK. Now with this update UK users who’s pre-ordered the band can download Microsoft Health app directly from the store.

Microsoft Health app lets you monitor your daily physical activity and personalize your Microsoft Band right from your Windows Phone.The companion app gives you insight from your physical activity logged by your wearable personal trainer, like: detailed calorie burn, sleep quality, heart rate and more. And just like a personal trainer, Microsoft Health app guides you to improved wellness by constantly learning about you, your current fitness level, and your future needs.
