Both the newly announced Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge come with built-in wireless charging capabilities. Samsung has introduced a brand new wireless charging pad, which will likely launch alongside the new handsets (on April 10).
While the company has not officially unveiled the pricing of the charging pad, Canadian carrier Fido, suggests that the round wireless charging pad will cost $59.99 in Canada. This price was revealed in a Tweet that has been deleted, but Canadian website MobileSyrup managed to take a screenshot of it. Apparently, Rogers and Fido will offer the wireless charger for free to customers who buy the Galaxy S6.
The Galaxy S6 features a 5.1 inch Quad HD display, up to 128GB of internal storage, a 16 megapixel rear camera, a 5 megapixel front camera, and an octa-core Exynos processor with 3GB of RAM. The Galaxy S6 Edge is nearly identical in terms of hardware, but features a dual-edge display with added functionality and a slightly larger battery.
