Samsung Galaxy Note 3 for T-Mobile receives Android 5.0 Lollipop

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on T-Mobile is now receiving the Android 5.0 Lollipop software update. The update brings a Material Design inspired user interface, Lock Screen notifications, the new "Recent Apps" multitasking menu, the 64-bit ART compiler, Project Volta for improved battery life and more. Also coming with the update are enhancements to Wi-Fi calling and a fix to the email set up.

The update is being pushed out to Galaxy Note 3 customers OTA (over-the-air) and in stages, so it may be a few days before it is available for download on your device. If you don't receive the update after a few days, you can try manually checking for it under Settings on your device.

The update brings the N900TUVUFOB5 software version to your Galaxy Note 3, and is quite large in size. Users are therefore recommended to connect to WiFi before downloading and installing the update. It is also advised that you ensure your battery is appropriately (at least 50%) charged before installing the update.
