Samsung Galaxy Note 4 for Sprint receives Android 5.0 Lollipop

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 for Sprint receives Android 5.0 LollipopThe Samsung Galaxy Note 4 for Sprint is reportedly receiving the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. Once you have updated your device to Android 5.0.1, you will be treated to Samsung's new TouchWiz user interface, which has been flattened and polished to match Lollipop's Material Design guidelines. You also get the new lockscreen notifications, improved battery life courtesy of 'Project Volta' and the redesigned multi-tasking view which includes Chrome tabs. Users are also reporting improved overall performance on their Galaxy Note 4 after installing the update.

The update will be pushed out OTA (over-the-air) and in stages. So it may be a few days before it is available for download on your device. If you have not received an OTA notification, you can try manually checking for the update under Settings on your device. Before installing the update make sure your battery is appropriately (at least 50%) charged and that you are connected to WiFi (to avoid unnecessary data charges).

Sprint has also started rolling out the Lollipop update to the HTC One M8, Samsung Galaxy S5 and LG G3 on its network.
