Motorola Moto X (second-gen) available in red leather

Motorola has introduced a new red leather option for the second-generation Motorola Moto X built on the Moto Maker store. The price of the leather back is the same $25 that Motorola charges for other leather and wood options on the site. Motorola is partnering with Horween for the material.

Other than the customizable back panel, the Moto X features the same internal hardware, which includes a 5.2 inch AMOLED display with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution, up to 32GB of internal storage, a 13M rear camera, a 2MP front camera, a 2300mAh battery and a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB of RAM.

The off-contract Moto X with the red leather back panel and 16GB of storage will cost you $524.99, while the 32GB model will cost $574.99. If you sign a two-year contract with Verizon or AT&T, the 16GB model in red leather will cost you $124.99. The 32GB variant will run you $174.99.
