Microsoft Band to be sold at Best Buy, Target and Amazon

Microsoft has confirmed that sales of its Microsoft Band fitness tracking wearable will be expanded to Best buy, Target and Amazon in the US. It will also become available in the UK for the first time on April 15.

Supplies of the Microsoft Band have been limited ever since the device launched in November. However, starting today Microsoft will start offering more units through its own retail stores. The new retail partners will also start offering the Microsoft Band immediately.

The bigger news is market expansion for the Microsoft Band to the UK. Pre-orders begin today for the price of £169.99 on Microsoft's online store in the UK, along with other retail outlets like Amazon, Curry's PC World, Dixons Travel, Harrods, and O2.. The Microsoft Band itself goes on sale in the UK on April 15.

Microsoft also confirmed their plans to release regular updates to the Microsoft Band, the first of which was released in February.
