BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9983 Graphite officially announced

BlackBerry has announced a new version of its Porsche Design P'9983 luxury smartphone, which has been available to buy in select markets since last year. The new handset is called BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9983 Graphite, and comes with "exclusive graphite-metallic colored elements."

The Porsche Design P'9983 Graphite doesn't have the glossy back of the older model, instead having "the finest, hand-wrapped leather" on the rear cover. Other than the exterior changes, the handset doesn't differ from the original version.

That means, your  Porsche Design P'9983 Graphite will feature a 3.1 inch Super AMOLED display with a 720 x 720 pixel resolution, a QWERTY keyboard, 64GB of internal storage with microSD, an 8 megapixel rear camera, a 2 megapixel front camera and a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus processor with 2GB of RAM.

BlackBerry says that the Porsche Design P’9983 Graphite will be available for purchase in the coming weeks via Porsche Design stores, as well as through select carriers and retailers. However, it seems the handset is already available through the Porsche Design's website for $1,950 if anyone is interested.
