The "new HTC One" will be unveiled on March 1, at MWC

HTC has already scheduled a press event on March 1 at MWC 2015, during which we expected the company to unveil the HTC One M9. Now HTC UK has sent out a tweet confirming that the company will indeed be showing us "the new HTC One" during its MWC press conference.

The tweet also has the phrase "let them stare", indicating that the new HTC One will be something worth looking at. Given HTC's history with making smartphones we can be assured the new flagship will look amazing.

The HTC One M9 is expected to feature a 5 inch 1080p display, but come in a more compact form factor than the HTC One M8 with thinner bezels. The new flagship is also expected to feature a 20MP rear camera and an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor. HTC may also unveil the One M9 Plus, with a larger 5.2 inch Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixel) display.
