Lumia Denim update rolls out to Lumia 525, Lumia 535, Lumia 620 and Lumia 720 in India

Microsoft India recently started rolling out the Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 with Lumia Denim to the Nokia Lumia 520 in India. The company also promised at the time, that it hopes to complete pushing out the Lumia Denim update by the end of February. Now the company has started rolling out Lumia Denim for the Lumia 525, Lumia 535, Lumia 620 and Lumia 720 in India.

Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 with Lumia Denim brings several notable improvements to many devices, including the highly anticipated digital personal assistant Cortana to select markets. Along with imaging improvements on high-end devices, this the update also includes several other improvements such as folders for your Start Screen, a new version of Internet Explorer, an improved Glance screen, and more.

The update is being pushed out to devices OTA (over-the-air) as we speak, but it may take awhile to rollout to all handsets. Once the update is available, you will get a notification to download it, but you can also try manually checking for the update under Settings > Phone Update > Check for Updates.

Before installing the update, make sure that you have at least 1.5GB of free space on your device, and ensure your battery is appropriately (at least 50%) charged. You can check if the Lumia Denim update is available in your region by clicking here.
