T-Mobile offers FREE tablet with purchase of monthly data plan with 1GB or more

T-Mobile is celebrating Valentine's Day by giving away a "Sweet Tablet Offer". Starting February 12, through February 16, the Un-Carrier is given away a free Alcatel OneTouch Pop 7 for $0 down and $0 each month for 24 months, when you sign up for a postpaid monthly data plan with 1GB or more of data. If you choose to forgo the data plan before 24 months, you will have to pay the full price of the tablet.


The Alcatel OneTouch Pop 7 features a 7-inch display with a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 2MP rear camera, a 0.3MP front camera, a 3240mAh battery and a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek MT-8312 processor with Mali 400 graphics and 1GB of RAM. On the software front you get Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

In order to qualify for the offer, you need to be well-qualified, and you are responsible for the sales tax on the tablet. You can pay as low as $20 monthly for a T-Mobile data plan offering 1GB of data, or as high as $70 each month for 11GB of data. Keep in mind that T-Mobile also offers 200MB of free data each month for the life of the tablet you own.
