Sprint offering the LG G Pad F 7.0 free with 2-year contract and active smartphone

LG G Pad F 7.0 for SprintSprint will be offering the LG G Pad F 7.0, its first LG tablet for free starting on March 13th. In order to get the tablet for free, you will have to sign a two-year contract and have an active Sprint phone on your account. The carrier is also offering a pair of bundled plans that include the tablet, an LG handset, and wireless service.

For $0 down and $90 a month, you get the LG G3 with unlimited talk, text and data accompanied by the LG G Pad F 7.0 on Sprint Easy Pay with 1GB of data each month. For $0 down and $95 a month, you can get the LG G Flex 2 using Sprint Easy Pay, receiving unlimited talk, text and data accompanied by the LG G Pad F 7.0 with 1GB of data each month. If you only want the tablet, you can get it for $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $10 each.

The LG G Pad F 7.0 features a 7 inch display with a 800 x 1280 pixel resolution, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 3MP rear camera, a 1.3MP front camera, a 4000mAh battery and a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM.

On the software side you get Android 4.4 KitKat, accompanied by various LG enhancements, including LG Q Pair which allows the tablet to receive notifications, SMS and MMS messages from a paired Android handset, and reply to them. A phone call can be answered using the tablet's speaker. Knock Code allows tablet owners to devise a three to eight tap pattern to unlock and wake up their LG G Pad F 7.0. That gives users 86,000 possible combinations to choose from. Dual Window allows you to split the screen in half and run two apps at the same time. And Gesture Shot starts the front-facing camera's countdown timer with a simple wave of the hand.

The white version of the LG G Pad F 7.0 will be available March 13th while the black model will be released on April 10th.
