Microsoft releases Office Touch for Windows 10 Preview

Microsoft has released Office Touch for Windows 10 Preview through the beta version of the Windows Store. The release includes touch optimized versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. They are also universal apps, which means they will work across all form factors including tablets and phones.

Microsoft has already released Office Touch for Android and Office Touch for iOS, so its great to see the company has finally shifted its focus to its own platforms. In fact Office Touch will also be preinstalled on Windows 10 for phones, which is scheduled for preview release in February.

Microsoft Word for Windows 10

• Word documents look great on smaller screens, just as they do on your computer.
• Images, tables, charts, SmartArt, footnotes, equations are all there, nicely formatted.
• View email attachments and access Word documents from OneDrive, Dropbox, OneDrive for Business, or SharePoint.
