The Motorola Xoom was released back in 2011 offering a pure Android experience and has since been a great option for those looking for a powerful Android tablet. While the device no longer receives official software updates, it still gets attention from the developer community.
We have already posted a guide on how to update your Xoom to Android 4.4 KitKat using OmniROM. Now check out the following guide on how to update your Xoom to Android 4.4.4 using an unofficial CyanogenMod 11 ROM.
[NOTE] The following method is based on formatting your Xoom with bigPart partition. Please do not proceed before you perform a BigPart Repartition Upgrade on your Motorola Xoom.
[NOTE] We have also put together a guide on how to install Android 4.4.4 based OmniROM 4.4.4 on your Motorola Xoom. Please note that the OmniROM feels more stable than the CyanogenMod port at this time.
