BlackBerry Leap 'Rio' photos leaked

It looks like the BlackBerry Leap, which was previously known as the BlackBerry Rio may soon be making its way into the market. The upcoming mid-range handset has been caught in a new set of leaked photos

The handset seems to resemble to the design of the BlackBerry Z3 which was launched last year, but it comes with some new hardware. The new BlackBerry Leap will feature a 5 inch display with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8MP rear camera, a 2MP front camera, a 2800 mAh battery, 4G LTE connectivity and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor from Qualcomm with 2GB of RAM. The new BlackBerry handset is reportedly 9.5mm-thin, and it should be available in black and white.
