Apple iOS 8.2 beta 5 released to developers

Apple iOS 8.2 beta 5 Apple iOS 8.2 beta 5 has been released for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch to developers registered in the iOS developer program. This release follows iOS 8.2 beta 4, which was released to developers last month.

As we mentioned before, the iOS beta update is available to developers signed up for Apple’s iOS Developer program, which costs $99 per year. If you're a developer, head over to the iOS Dev Center to download all the necessary bits to get started with the Apple Watch development. The download is around 260MB in size, and registered developers will be able to download the update by heading to Settings > General > Software Update on their iOS device.

The iOS 8.2 update is expected to include support for the Apple Watch, which is expected to arrive in April. The fifth beta doesn't seem to offer any new features according to the official changelog, but includes the usual bug fixes and performance improvements one is accustomed to from Apple. In any case, we will be testing this beta release, and will report any new changes if we do discover them.
