The Sims 4 is free to play through Origin for 48 hours

The Sims 4

Electronic Arts is offering The Sims 4 on its Game Time lineup on Origin, allowing anyone who downloads their latest simulation title for free for 48 hours. Once the time runs out, you can decide whether you want to pay and keep the game or not.

Game Time on Origin allows gamers to download the game on a trial basis. Unlike trials of the past, you get full access to the game and can play it as much as you want. The only catch is that its timed, and once the time runs out you will have to pay to continue playing. The clock won't start ticking until you run the game for the first time, but once it begins it ticks away in real-time, so you'll probably want to wait until you get enough of free time to enjoy it properly. Any progress you make during your free time will be saved, so if you eventually decide to pay for the game you can continue from where you left off.

The Sims 4 is a life simulation game developed by Maxis and The Sims Studio and published by Electronic Arts. The Sims 4 is available on PC and Mac and allows players to control  their Sims in various activities and form relationships. The game, like the rest of the series, does not have a defined final goal; gameplay is nonlinear. Emotional state plays a larger role in gameplay than in previous games in the series, with effects on social interaction, user interface, and personality

Besides The Sims 4, Origin is also offering other popular titles such as Battlefield 4, Titanfall, and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning on its Game Time lineup. If you find anything else you have been yearning to try out, just head over to the Game Time page to get started.
