Motorola is rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to Moto G owners in both the US and India. According to a tweet sent out by Motorola, the update is currently rolling out to first generation Moto G in India, while both the first and second generation Moto G are receiving the update in India and the US.

Android 4.4 will be updated to Android 5.0.2 on both handsets with the LBX22 build. Keep in mind that the update is being rolling out in stages, so it may not be available to all users at the same time. You should get an OTA notification when the update is available, but you could consider manually checking for the update under Settings.Motorola offers a near stock Android experience for their handsets, similar to Google's Nexus devices.
