The update brings the latest version of Android, which includes the ART runtime for improved performance and a completely overhauled interface in certain sections of the UI. Samsung's TouchWiz user interface will be running on top of Lollipop with a majority of the apps having received the Material Design treatment.

The update is being pushed OTA and you should receive a notification when it is available for your device. After the update make sure you are running the N900XXUEBOA6 software version.

A beta version of the Lollipop update was leaked some time ago, and users were given a glimpse of what they should expect when Lollipop eventually arrived. Interestingly, the newer Samsung Galaxy Note 4 owners, are still left waiting for Lollipop.
