Lenovo announces new smartphones and smart accessories

LenovoChinese manufacturer Lenovo has made some interesting announcements at CES 2015, which include two new flagship smartphones, a trendy smart band and a accessory for those who like capturing selfies.

Unfortunately Lenovo has no plans of bringing any of their new products to the U.S. which is a shame. In any case, they are all interesting products and worth taking a deeper look at.

Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro

The is a premium Android smartphone with a gorgeous full metal design. It features a 5.3 inch 1080p wide-view display, 32GB of internal storage, a 13MP autofocus camera in the front and rear, dual nano-SIM slots with 4G LTE connectivity, and an octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB of RAM.

The Vibe X2 Pro measures 5.76 x 2.79 x 0.27 in (146.3 X 71.0 X 6.95mm) and weights 0.308lbs (140g). On the software side you get Android 4.4 KitKat topped with Lenovo's Vibe 2.0 UI.

The handset will launch in April and will be priced at $499.

Lenovo P90

The is an Android smartphone which features a 5.5 inch 1080p display, a 13MP camera with OIS and a 4000mAh battery. The P90 is also the first smartphone powered by Intel's newest 64-bit Atom processor, which uses the 5-mode XMM 7262 modem - capable of LTE-Advanced fast Internet in global markets.

The Lenovo P90 will be available in Pearl White, Onyx Black, and Lava Red. It will launch in February at $369 unlocked.

Lenovo Vibe Band VB10

The comes with an E-Ink display, which allows it to boast a 7 day battery life- an experience we wish more wearables offered. Functions-wise, the waterproof smart wristband offers watch-faces, fitness monitors and smartphone notifications. The E Ink display means no glare and an always clear picture, even under bright sunlight. There's room for up to 150 characters on the screen, which should be enough for glancing at your calls, SMS, Facebook, Twitter, WeChat notifications and more.

The Vibe Band VB10 will be sold in April for $89.

Lenovo Vibe Xtension Selfie Flash

Our front cameras don't come with a flash (unless you own an HTC Desire EYE). So our night time selfies are usually very poorly lit. Fortunately Lenovo's unique selfie accessory is here to save the day. It attaches itself to the phone's 3.5mm audio jack and illuminates your face with the force of eight white LED bulbs - enough to create even diffused light at over one meter radius. The  syncs with the smartphone's shutter, and it doesn't matter what brand your Android phone is. It also takes up to 100 selfies on a single charge, so you'll have plenty of time to get that selfie just right.

The Xtension Selfie Flash will go on sale in April, priced at $29.
