HTC One M8 for AT&T finally receives Android 4.4.4 update

HTC One M8Its been awhile since we reported that the HTC One M8 for AT&T (0P6B120) was receiving the Android 4.4.4 update. It turns out that the update is rolling out to the handset only this week. HTC Vice President of Product Management Mo Versi took to Twitter over the weekend announcing the availability of the update and confirming that it will include VoLTE support and the HTC Eye Experience software enhancements.

HTC One M8 for AT&T running Android 4.4.4Users would receive an OTA notification when the update is available for their devices, at which point they can download and install the update which brings the 3.42.502.1 software version. It is recommended that you are connected to Wi-Fi and that you have your battery fully charged before you initiate the update process. You can also manually check for the update availability on your handset by heading to Settings > AT&T Software update > Check for updates.

According to AT&T the update brings the following new features and improvements to the HTC One M8:

  • Adds Copy and Paste camera feature
