HTC Camera for Android updated with Crop-Me-In feature for HTC One M8

HTC Camera for AndroidThe HTC EYE Experience offers a number of cool features for devices like the HTC Desire EYE, including Face-Fusion, Screen Share, Split Capture and Auto Selfie. Another feature called Crop-Me-In which was part of the original package, was not included in the update which brought the HTC EYE Experience to the HTC One M8.

Today the HTC Camera for Android app has been updated, and includes a beta version of the Crop-Me-In feature for HTC One M8 owners.

With the Crop-Me-In feature on HTC Camera, users will be able to crop a selfie taken with the front-facing camera into a picture snapped with the rear camera. This will ensure you are part of the photos captured with the rear camera, when you have taken over photo taking duties.

HTC had promised that Crop-Me-In would be part of an update sent before Android 5.0, which has just started its international roll-out. Yesterday, the company also released an update to HTC Camera for Windows Phone on its HTC One M8 for Windows.
