Motorola DROID Turbo vs Samsung Galaxy Note 4 - Video Comparison

The Moto X (2014) is a great flagship, but doesn't match up to the power offered on the Motorola DROID Turbo. Unfortunately the DROID Turbo remains an exclusive on Verizon, and is a fierce competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

Motorola has bestowed the DROID Turbo with just about anything you would want on a smartphone. A Quad HD display, 20MP camera and a Snapdragon 805 processor are backed by a powerful 3900mAh battery, which ensures the device stays powered for a full two-days.

The brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is one of the few devices capable of standing up against the DROID Turbo. It features a 5.7 inch Quad-HD display of its own, with a 16MP optically-stabilized camera and a Snapdragon 805 processor.

While both handsets are nearly evenly matched in performance, their different designs may help users select a device to match their style. Samsung's Note has the larger display with more accurate colors, but it weighs the same as the Turbo and it is also much thinner. Motorola on the other hand have used innovative design materials such as ballistic nylon and Kevlar. While the materials used by Motorola may not be very visually appealing, it makes it easier to handle.

Samsung's other advantage comes with its S Pen stylus which added tons of functionality to your Note 4 when coupled with the Note specific apps on TouchWiz. Motorola opts for a very basic experience and highlights specific phone features with Moto Voice, Actions and Display enhancements.

Samsung also manages to slightly overtake Motorola's 20MP camera, with its 16MP sensor. The optical image stabilization helps keep things steady and the audio recording quality is higher than that on the DROID Turbo.

Motorola's biggest trump card is in the excellent battery life offered by the DROID Turbo. The 3900mAh battery is capable of keeping your device powered for two to three days.

Now again, the exclusivity of the DROID Turbo only allows you to enjoy this device if you are a Verizon Wireless customer. Interestingly it is even more affordable than the Note 4 off contract. So unless you are looking for the heavy productivity features offered by Samsung's phablet, the DROID Turbo maybe a device worth looking at
