The Google Nexus 5 for Sprint is now receiving the Android 5.0.1 software update. The update brings the LRX22C build and is being pushed out to Nexus 5 units on Sprint as we speak. Besides fixing a video playback issue on the Nexus 7, the update brings various bug fixes and a fix for an issue with factory resetting your Nexus device.
The update is being pushed out in stages, so you may not receive the OTA notification immediately. You can also manually check for the update on your Nexus 5 by heading to Settings > About Phone > System Updates > Check for Update.
Before installing the update, users are advised to make sure that your device is fully charged and that you are connected to Wi-Fi.
